My Brother

I like my brother very much, but in the past we always fight with each other. Now that we grown big, we do not fight anymore.

3/1 Happy Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Today Mrs Lee made us Caramel Popcorns.  It is very tasty! She said that if she is free tonight, she will make us   Caramel Popcorns again! We are as happy as a lark. But unfortunately Manfread can't eat. He is green with envy. Today is 3/1 HAPPY! DAY!.

2010 SYF Choir Competition on 15/04/2010

Today was the most memorable day for me. My school choir would be participating in the SYF Choir Competition and I am proud that I am part of them. I was really very excited, so were all my choir friends. I went to school about 7:13am as I were helping out for silent reading. At 7:45am I went to the hall for morning assembly. After assembly, we had a 30min briefing for our mother tongue learning journey. It was at the middle of the briefing when my choir friends called me up to the music room.

When I was in the music room, there was no teachers, so we decided to play some music to practice for both parts,(Alto and Soprano). We sang better than yesterday during our normal practice. Miss Serene Lee came to the music room and was pleased to see us practicing, She put down her things, then took video of us practicing. Afterward  Mrs Ang came, she was pleased too. Mrs Wang came a bit late, we do some warm up, then we start to practice our own part (Alto and Soprano) till 11:00am then we went for our lunch. After lunch, we took a short nap, and start to dress for the important performance. We have many aunties to help us in our hairdo and make up. We really look very pretty. We have another round of practice before we started our journey to Victoria Concert Hall.

We took some group photos outside VCH and have a short warm up session before we went to the holding area to wait for our turn. We were very nervous when it was our turn to go up on the stage. My heart was beating very fast, I only looked at Mrs Wang, our conductor. When we were singing the last song "Hamabe No Uta", we start to sway and enjoyed the song as we sing along. I think we had put up our best performance. After our performance, we have our snack and returned to the concert hall to see the performance by other school. We wanted to wait for the result announcement but our school bus uncle couldn't wait, we have to return to school. Mrs Ang and Mrs Wang stayed to wait for the result.

When we are about to reach school, Mr Nasrun received the SMS from Mrs Ang, guess what? "WE GOT THE BRONZE!" We were very happy, it was quite unexpected. We cheered as we were still on the bus turning into the school compound, Auntie Cheryl is our cheerleader. Miss Serene Lee and Miss Lim were still in school waiting for us. We saw them and couldn't wait to break the good news to them. The moment we get off the bus, we ran towards them.

Yu Peng who was participating in the 演讲比赛 also got third. We were very happy and called Uncle Ng to congratulate Yu Peng.

This was really a wonderful day with so much good things happening on the same day. A Wonderful Day for Beacon Primary School.

Together with Auntie Cheryl, Jerlyn, Auntie Velene and Rachel, we went for a small celebration at MacDonald, then we went back for dinner.

A trip to sentosa

Me and my friend went to Sentosa beach we were very excited and happy, but unfortunately our parents called us to go for a walk we were very sad. Then we walk to a bench and sat on it to wait for a bus, we waited and waited, finally the bus came, we were very happy we sat on it and talk to each other, it was not really long from our beach to our destination. We alight from the bus and carry on walking. We walked and walked, finally we stopped and found a suitable place to take our photo.

Rachel's father, Uncle Danny said that there was a place where we could ride on a car. It was at the Skyride and LUGE station. We were very excited. This was my first time driving on a CAR!

We took a photo while we were getting ready to ride on the skyride. We had to sit on the skyride in order to ride the car. It was a very good experience for me. It was very high and it's like we can see the whole Sentosa! My first ride was a little scary, how I wish mommy was with me:(

Finally I passed the skyride test. No lah, just kidding. Can you figure out what was I riding now? Maybe you are right! Yes, it was the luge! Before we took off, there were instructors teaching us how to ride on the luge. We were told not to put our legs and hands out of the luge because accident could happened and we may have broken hands and legs. Uncle Danny told us after the ride that someone was hurt along the way. There are many turns and sign along the track. I felt like I was flying on the track, it was very fast.

After the LUGE ride, we went back to the beach. We ate first then swam in the sea. It was so fun. We played beach ball and performed gymnastic in the sea.

After a long time in the water, we finally came out and build sandcastle. It's a long time till our parents called us to watch a puppet show.

This was our puppet show story teller. She was very fun and cute.

Jerlyn was selected to be the Queen Ant. The Queen Ant was very hardworking and all her amy of ants are working very hard to find food.

We acted her amy of ants. We were divided into two groups and we were told to pass down our food, the toy bread and pass it back to the front before the Queen Ant finished singing. Our group won the game.

Next, Nelson was selected to act the Grasshopper who played his guitar and sang all day till winter. He had been busy playing and singing that he didn't go to look for food. When winter came, he fainted. Luckily the kind Queen Ant gave him food and he was well again.

The moral of the story tell us not to be lazy even though it is school holiday. We play hard and we must work hard too for the coming year.

At the end of the puppet show, we asked the story teller where are the puppets. Guess what?

We were the puppets of the show!!!!

After the puppet show, Auntie Janet brought us to the bridge. This photo was taken by Auntie Cheryl. The bridge was very shaky. After the bridge walking, we continued playing sandcastle until it started to rain heavily, so we went to have a shower first and went to eat caramel popcorn. After all we still miss the LUGE ride so we pleaded all the aunties to let us ride the LUGE,Auntie Joyce said that only lindy could play the LUGE so, we asked why, she said that it was because she has not ride the LUGE. Lindy said that she do not one to sit/play with other people .So the aunties said ok and let us go. We were very happy.

This photo is when some of the parent join us,they were my mother and auntie Janet. We were very happy.I am not scared when we were going to the sky ride. Do you know why? It was because my mother is with me. Finally we went to play the LUGE. It was so fun and I was the first! After that we went home.

Snowy Night At Tanglin Mall.

This is Tanglin Mall. We were going to join other people for the foam party .

The foam party had just started. Is the scenery nice? I think it was beautiful. It was snowing very heavily, we were cold.

Bubbles bubbles everywhere. Oh no ! I was going to drown .......... whew! Luckily I can swim, if not i will be drown forever.

After the foam party, we went Orchard Road to see the christmas lightings and took many nice photographs.

Then we went to eat supper. All thanks to Auntie Janet. She gave us a treat. After the food we went home.

It was a lovely evening. I wished that I could one day enjoyed the real White Christmas somewhere.

First Day Of Holiday

P1 Orientation

I was called to go to school to help the teachers for the P1 orientation. I felt that they are very cute and smart and noisy too. One of the child in 1/5 cried, he didn't want to talk. I think that he missed his parents, he was very shy too. I felt very proud of them because in my P1 orientation my class was very noisy. I remembered during my P1 orientation , I was very shy too. A reporter took a pictured of me using the interactive whiteboard and published in the newspaper. I was being called by Miss Lim to go up on stage to talked about how I felt about my school. As usual I talked about computer lesson and online games. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! =)

IBM Family Day

Before I tell you about my IBM Family day trip I need to thank Auntie Velene for arranging the trip for us. When we got there, we saw Jeremy, a famous magician.

We were very happy. He even pull a red ball out of my waterbottle pouch. I was surprised. He even use string and cards to do magic too. He told us that he had practised for twenty years but we didn't believe him. He also said that all magic are not real they are just illusion.


It had been raining every day, and the place was very muddy. There were many food and games stalls and we were having fun.

Wii Sport, they were very fun.


We even ate Ice-cream and made bookmarks. I even made 1 for Mrs Ang.

We also do air brush tatoo and hand painting. Didn't I look nice?

Our favourite magician, Jeremy Peh performed on stage and my friend, Rachel was selected to be on stage to perform with him.

The most exciting moment was the lucky draw. Rachel's mother, Auntie Velene won the first prize. We were cheering for her and we were very happy.

After the event, we went to the toilet to wash our muddy legs. Rachel's father help us to wash our legs. This was a lucky day for Rachel. First she was selected to perform on stage with Jeremy, then her mom won the first prize.

All of them came to my house for dinner, and we played and watched video. It was a fun-filled day for all of us.
